Certificate in Geospatial Technology Application
The Certificate in Geospatial Technology Application is an undergraduate, career-focused educational opportunity that helps learners from all backgrounds develop basic skills in acquiring, analyzing and interpreting spatial databases and preparing standard cartographic maps using 21st century mapping and visualization techniques. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates an expected growth of 5% to 7% for positions in agriculture and related fields by 2024. This certificate creates educational opportunities for students and non-traditional students as well as high school teachers and government and private industry employees for professional development.

AFE 366: Climate Change Studies
AFE 489: Remote Sensing of the Environment
AQU 480: Introduction to GIS
COS 364: Data Storage & Data Mining
Students must receive a “C” in these courses.
