Masters Social Work (MSW)

The program is approved by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education and provides students with two distinct tracks for advanced social work practice:
- Traditional MSW Pathway – Credit Hours: 60
- For students from any undergraduate major. Includes advanced coursework and extensive field practicum in clinical, advocacy, and community-based settings.
- Advanced Standing MSW Pathway – Credit Hours: 30
- For applicants with a recent CSWE-accredited BSW degree. Complete your MSW in as little as one year full-time.
Accreditation Disclosure: The Master of Social Work (MSW) program is not currently accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Students who graduate from this program may not meet the educational requirements for social work licensure in many jurisdictions. Prospective students are strongly encouraged to review the licensure requirements in the state or jurisdiction where they intend to practice before enrolling.
