Graduate Council
Purpose
To develop and monitor policies relating to graduate studies, graduate students, and the graduate faculty.
Responsibilities
- Advise the Director of Graduate Studies with regard to graduate admissions, program review, graduate student concerns and Graduate Faculty concerns.
- Establish and publish the Graduate Faculty status criteria and policy.
- Develop and recommend a policy and procedure for the submission and criteria for faculty applications to obtain Graduate Faculty Status.
- Recommend for appointment to Graduate Faculty status from among faculty with significant teaching, research, and professional accomplishment.

Three (3) At-large members
Ex-officio members to include Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Registrar.
