KUMA is a program that stimulates sustained interest in the health professions of medicine, dentistry, and the physician assistant program, toward the goal of successful application and acceptance to those programs. Students participate in intensive advising. shadowing, research, and mentoring over three to four years. Students will participate in practice testing of the MCAT, GRE, or DAT to prepare them to take the MCAT for medical school, physician assistant program, or dental schools respectively, during their time at KSU before applying to their professional school.

CRITERIA

High academic standing: 3.4 GPA, exemplify leadership, compassion, and service to others. Requires 2 letters of recommendation. successful interview, and personal statement
